Twenty-One Crows
“Twenty-One Crows are a captivating sigh of relief in the folk genre. This Brighton based band make brooding, brilliant modern classics”. The Great Escape Festival
”This is tough stuff, music that takes a while to come out from its reclusive shell, but Twenty One Crows are a mature and exciting new force in song writing”. Lastbroadcast
“Whatever Will Become Of Us…” is an undiscovered pleasure. This Four-track cd is only a teaser of better things to come”. Kingdom Magazine
Jacob’s Stories
“A British indie needs to snap up Jacob’s Stories and give Undisciplined Art the full release its unerring quality warrants, as if this album was put out by more of a houeshold name it would have already have been widely lauded as one of 2008’s very finest” Rock Midgets
“This impressive self-release album from Scottish-born, Brighton-based singer/songwriter Stuart Lee is deserving of a wider audience” Rock Sound
“Jacob’s Stories are profound, immense and beautiful” XYZ Magazine
“Beautifully crafted electronica” Bent Magazine
“Haunting in places, sparse and beautiful in others” Latest 7
Peepholes
“”Half finished bolts of tunes are discharged into the either with a lack of regard for conventions of traditional indie. To hold them in would be inconceivable”. 20jazzfunkgreats
“Stop Picking On Aretha Pudding” comes across like a grittier early Le Tigre, with angular guitar riffs broken out over a pounding drum machine and Kate Barrett left to her own devices on the vocals, producing nu-skool riot-grrl in excelsis” . Playlouder.com
“Coltish Korg abusers Peepholes are screaming, writhing on the dancefloor”. Plan B Magazine
“With their imaginative blend of up-beat frenetic pop and the wackiest sounds that emerged from the 80’s The Peepholes are not afraid of bucking current indie trends” One80news
Conrad Vingoe
“…he takes standard folk-like forms back to their essence so that the grains of the genre are important rather than the veneer of fashion. His touch is deft and almost feminine…almost imperceptible until you realise that the songs inhabit you…the melancholy of out of season loneliness…”
Americana-uk.com
“Vingoe’s super-power lies in his voice, which is glorious…Everything is in place” The Stool Pigeon
“Folk influenced pop carved out of wooden guitars and ivory keys, swelling melodies and a healthy vocal performance. This feels solid and ephemeral at once” The Brighton Source magazine
Nils Bech
“Combining classical music and well-crafted electronica…Nils Bech is a must see” Gscene Magazine
“With a baritone that sounds seductively schooled, a scrap book of musical styles and a real zeal for performance he’s the type of artist you stumble across at a festival, go “wtf?” and within 2 songs is your new favourite band”. Q:Pitch
“Bech is an integral part of the Norwegian art and music scene”. Amp Over Camp
